Products That May Move by Rail

Rail can support both inbound supply and outbound material movement.

The appropriate railcar and handling plan depend on the exact product, dimensions, packaging, volume, origin, destination, and customer requirements.

Printing paper, kraft paper, linerboard, corrugating medium, paperboard, tissue rolls, and other roll products.

02

Pulp & Fiber Inputs

Baled pulp, market pulp, fiber inputs, additives, and other qualifying paper-production materials.

03

Finished Packaging Products

Cartons, boxes, printed materials, paperboard products, palletized goods, and other enclosed freight.

04

Recovered Fiber

OCC, sorted paper, paperboard scrap, and other qualifying recovered materials moving to recycling or consuming markets.

Service Options

Use the service path that fits the customer and facility.

B&H can review direct rail, transload, storage, and new rail-served development opportunities without assuming every location fits every product.

01

Direct Rail Service

Serve an existing B&H-connected warehouse, distributor, printer, packaging operation, manufacturer, recycler, or other receiving customer.

What We Need to Review a Lane

Start with the product, lane, volume, and handling requirements.

B&H does not currently market itself as a paper-mill railroad. The opportunity is moving products to and from customers, warehouses, distributors, manufacturers, packaging operations, and recyclers.
Product Paper grade, roll dimensions, bale size, packaging, density, and STCC when available.
Origin and destination Supplier, customer, warehouse, recycler, city, facility, and serving railroad.
Volume and schedule Annual tons, railcars, shipment frequency, seasonality, startup, and growth.
Railcar and handling Likely equipment, doors, loading pattern, forklifts, roll or bale clamps, storage, and truck transfer.
