What We Look For

Safety-minded people who take the work seriously.

Railroad work requires dependability, communication, situational awareness, attention to detail, and consistent respect for operating rules and safety procedures.

Previous railroad experience is not required for every role. Transferable experience from transportation, construction, mechanical work, logistics, agriculture, manufacturing, utilities, the military, and other safety-focused environments may be valuable.

B&H is an equal opportunity employer. Employment decisions are based on qualifications, job requirements, performance, business needs, and other lawful factors.

A member of the LA&L family of railroads

B&H keeps its own operating identity and Southern Tier focus while sharing leadership, customer tools, commercial support, safety resources, and long-term planning with the broader railroad family.
